Founders
Uplift 365 was founded on a shared belief: a child cannot pursue an opportunity they have never been presented.
Aaron’s experiences showed him the opportunities young people can miss when mentorship and exposure arrive later in life. Jasmine’s experiences showed her how youth organizations can equip children with knowledge, confidence, and professional skills that continue shaping them into adulthood.
Together, they created Uplift 365 to bring those opportunities to more young people in their community.
Aaron Sparlin, Founder
Aaron was raised in an underserved community in South Sacramento. Although he had ambition and potential, he did not always have early access to the guidance, exposure, and productive mentorship that could have helped him recognize a wider range of possibilities.
Through determination and hard work, Aaron created new opportunities for himself and traveled throughout the United States for work. Along the way, he gained mentors who broadened his perspective, encouraged his growth, and helped shape the person he is today.
Aaron’s experiences inspired the vision for Uplift 365. He wants young people to receive the early encouragement, positive mentorship, and exposure that he wishes had been available during his own youth.
Jasmine Roman, Co-Founder
Growing up, Jasmine participated in youth organizations that introduced her to STEM, business etiquette, public speaking, and professional conduct. These programs gave her practical knowledge, confidence, and experiences that continued to benefit her throughout her education and professional life.
Jasmine understands firsthand how meaningful youth programs can expand a child’s perspective and prepare them for future opportunities. She co-founded Uplift 365 because she wants to share the knowledge and support she received with young people in her community.
With a background in accounting, financial education, and organizational planning, Jasmine also helps transform the organization’s vision into structured programs and sustainable opportunities for the youth it serves.
Together, Aaron and Jasmine created Uplift 365 to connect young people with mentorship, education, financial knowledge, technology, sports, and experiences that help them recognize their potential and build productive futures.
